  I ordered a toucan mask for the key part of my son's class assembly. Delivery was taking a while but I made the rest of the costume myself, confident that the beak would arrive in time. My costume-making skills are not fantastic so I was really counting on the beak to make it clear that he was supposed to be a toucan! He was getting increasingly excited and asking about the beak and I kept assuring him that it would arrive in time. One week later, just as I was expecting the delivery of the beak, the shop rang and said it was not in stock - had they not been aware of that a week ago?? They said they would refund me, which they did within 24 hours, but the disappointment for myself and more importantly my son is enormous. It is now too late to get one from elsewhere so we have the choice between a homemade beak made out of toilet rolls - ugh - or no beak at all. The most annoying thing about the shop - apart from not informing me they were out of stock in time to find a replacement - was that the woman on the phone was not even apologetic about it, just very factual. Consequently, my son is now very upset with the key piece of his costume missing for his class assembly, and I feel awful for letting him down. I would never use this shop again, and would strongly advise others to follow suit.
